A new year, a new adventure

Welcome to the cape less traveled, a destination far from the crowds. Feel the warmth of the Baja sun and the refreshing saltwater on your skin, tie a fly and cast for roosterfish like Steinbeck or hit the links on the sun-kissed sand dunes and the emerald links at the Robert Trent Jones III golf course. Located just 45 minutes from the Cabo International airport, adventurers and free spirits are beckoned by the Baja and are never disappointed.

At Costa Palmas, adventure and discovery are inspired by infinite sea and land experiences. The moment you arrive, the mesmerizing beauty will inspire and ignite your passion for adventure: from stand-up paddling, wakeboarding and snorkeling in the protected waters of Cabo Pulmo, the aquarium of the sea – to being led by the wind while you try your hand at kiteboarding or surfing at some of the best spots in all of Baja.

While the sea draws you home, the mountains also beckon. Hike to the top of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains and take in the breathtaking vistas, exhilarated by nature’s hand. Discover the magical waterfalls in Santiago by foot or, explore on wheels – two or more!

Grab your helmet and experience Baja on a mountain bike, or stick close to the coast on our fat tire bikes designed to make pedaling on the sand simple. If moving at a quicker pace is more your style, feel the warmth of the Baja as you ride ATVs or caravan on Polaris, all-terrain vehicles exploring the region’s secret sources of greenery, fresh water and peace.

Here, the sea calls us all home. In the winter, grey whales return to the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez to give birth where they were born, making whale watching a majestic and awe-inspiring experience. Sea turtles also return to the beaches of Baja to lay eggs and hatch in protected areas throughout Costa Palmas. When the time comes, they return to the sea, delighting all who bear witness to their release.

At the Costa Palmas estuary, flora and fauna of all types and life-stages can be observed through a simple nature walk. Here, we savor nature and our connection to it.

Costa Palmas is also a short drive from incredible cultural experiences, including the quaint town of El Triunfo and its culturally-rich Museo Ruta de Plata. Just a short drive from Costa Palmas lies some of the most well-preserved cave paintings in all of Mexico, dating back to 100 BC. And in our state’s capital of La Paz, the region’s friendly whale sharks await the opportunity to swim alongside mammals of all forms.

At Costa Palmas, adventure awaits. Experience your gateway to the exhilarating freedom of a life well-lived.
