This spring, we celebrated another great chapter of our La Batalla saga. The fun-filled weekend created memorable moments on the golf course and through our social program, providing various activities highlighting the best of the East Cape and Costa Palmas.
The welcome reception at the Nursery was the perfect way to start the weekend. The collaboration of Chef Gonzo, the Mozza culinary team, and guest Chefs from Nobu and Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas delivered exquisite fare throughout the weekend that satisfied everyone’s preferences.

The Costa Palmas team would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to all participants in this year’s event. Congratulations to the winners of this year’s La Batalla Golf competition, Jason Grosfeld and Maxton Mauney! Grosfeld & Mauney narrowly survived the first hole chip-off and advanced with a second chip-off advance along with John & Millicent Puglisi for a final hole showdown. After two great approach shots by each team, the final knockout punch landed, and the verdict was made clear.
Special thank you to Victor Zarate, Golf Course Superintendent & his Golf Maintenance team for their excellent golf course conditions. Absolutely amazing!
The Awards Dinner at the Marina Village, hosted by Mozza, was a perfect exclamation point to an epic weekend. Thanks to all of this year’s participants, and we look forward to a quick return by both members and our guests.
