New Day Club Opens in Costa Palmas

Costa Palmas, a 1500-acre residential and resort community in the East Cape, is opening a new day club, Delphine. In collaboration with Michelin star chef Ludo Lefebvre and club curator Fabien Cerato, the luxurious space offers food, lounging, and dancing.

Inspired by the French Riviera, Delphine combines the elevated Riviera lifestyle with Baja’s fresh flavors.

Delphine opens the first week of June 2024

As a resident or guest staying on the Costa Palmas property, you’ll have access to Delphine beginning June 2024. The open-air club is nestled along the swimmable shores of the Sea of Cortez. Offering live entertainment, a bar serving signature cocktails, and dining options right on the beach.

Feel the sand between your toes and watch waves roll in as you feast on cuisine that marries tastes from Nice, France and Cabo. Drawing on East Cape’s plentiful, fresh seafood and produce, Lefebvre’s menu will change with the seasons.

Summer features signature dishes like a citrus-forward chopped chicory salad with walnut pesto, Grilled Baja Shrimp flambéed with pastis, and classic Steak Frites with fresh herb butter. And these are just some of the menu items guests can choose from upon the club’s opening.

If you’d rather stop by for a drink after a lazy morning on the beach, mixologists at the chic bar can introduce you to a signature cocktail, brimming with high-end spirits and the bursts of flavor that only Baja-fresh ingredients can provide.

About Chef Ludo Lefebvre

Chef Ludo Lefebvre is one of the most influential chefs in Los Angeles. Training in France for 12 years with the great masters, before moving to California.

Lefebvre is known for his innovative culinary creations and his award-winning restaurants; L’Original in Hollywood, and Le Valley in Sherman Oaks.

With his restaurant tour “LudoBites,” he became known as the “pop-up king”, credited with igniting the phenomenon of the pop-up restaurant. And establishing its viability as a business model.

Today, he’s excited to start something new and fresh in East Cape. After visiting Costa Palmas, Lefebvre says he fell in love with the area, and immediately said yes to a collaboration.

“My hope is to have Costa Palmas and Delphine guests feel like they have just stepped into a beach club in the South of France. The boats, the beach, the music and most importantly the food will transport our guests,” he told the Hollywood Reporter.

Delphine adds to the culinary experiences inside Costa Palmas

Delphine joins a myriad of culinary stops that dot the Costa Palmas property. Whether you’re looking for a fancy dinner on the water, or simply want to grab a homemade pastry in the morning. You’ll find there are many restaurants, cafes, and bars to choose from. Including:

Estiatorio Milos

An elegant dining room with floor to ceiling windows and an unparalleled view of the sea, Estiatorio Milos is a Mediterranean restaurant founded by acclaimed chef Costas Spiliadis. You can choose from indoor or outdoor seating, and pick from a menu featuring dishes “from the sea” and “from the land.”

Casa de Brasa

Surrounded by a stunning pool and palm-tree speckled shorelines, Casa de Brasa is a great place for lunch or dinner. Serving up elevated versions of the homestyle-favorites that grace the tables of many Baja residents. Casa de Brasa’s menu offers tacos, mexican-style pizza, a raw bar, and main courses like a hamburger or grilled chicken sandwich.

El Puesto

A ceviche and sushi spot surrounded by sun and sand, El Puesto is an upscale beach shack with mouthwatering treats. Try the chocolate clam ceviche or Baja Poke Bowl, neither will disappoint.

Ginger’s

A sweet and savory cafe, Ginger’s is a great spot to grab a quick bite or take something on the go. Try a fresh smoothie and a pastry before taking a morning stroll on the beach. Or stop in for an afternoon break from the heat and enjoy an Acai Bowl.

Limon

Open nightly, Limon is known for its grilled fare and signature cocktails. The grill master can whip up everything from pork ribs to jumbo shrimp. But the must-try dish is the Mexican barbacoa, which uses the earth’s oven to slow cook meat.

Mozza Baja

Mozza Baja offers Italian cuisine in a casual atmosphere where wood-fired pizza is the star of the show. With dishes that are “focused not fussy,” chef Nancy Silverton’s menu is full of great tasting choices.

Chiki

Inspired by La Casa Azul in Mexico City, the architecture inside this nightclub is nothing short of amazing. Its vibrant colors, textiles, and intricate mosaics offer a unique atmosphere that pulls from cultural aesthetics and modern day art.

Dance the night away sampling incredible cocktails like the El Ray. Featuring home-aged santanera tequila, pink peppercorn, antica formula, luxardo cherry, and orange bitters.

Culinary experiences are just part of the luxurious Costa Palmas Property

The Costa Palmas Property is home to a Four Seasons Resort and the still in the works Aman Resorts property, Amanvari, which plans to open in 2025.

Residences are available too. From beachfront villas with captain’s quarters to the more casual homes of Casa Blake, you can come as a guest or stay as a resident.

The property boasts many restaurants and bars. But its Beach and Yacht Club, world-class golf course, mega-yacht marina, and Marina Village are also highlights.

Residents can enjoy a membership to the Beach and Yacht Club, where you’ll join an elite group of like-minded people who enjoy relishing their time in the sand and sea.

The golf course is an 18-hole course broken into three transitions that overlooks the Sea of Cortez. Designed by golf legend Robert Trent Jones Jr., it’s a must for every link-lover.

The Marina Village is a welcome oasis for sea-faring travelers. Sitting aside the marina, travelers can stop for a bite to eat, enjoy a cocktail, or shop at the boutiques that line the water’s edge.

Costa Palmas looks forward to welcoming new guests to explore this bespoke venue. And to continuing to offer elevated experiences like those found at its newest endeavor, Delphine.
