Blue Flag Certified

Costa Palmas is pleased to announce that more than 200 meters of La Ribera beachfront was recently awarded the prestigious Blue Flag rating by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FFE) Mexico.

The iconic Blue Flag rating is one of the world’s most recognized voluntary eco- labels awarded to beaches, marinas and sustainable boating and tourism operators.

Recipients of the Blue Flag rating must complete and maintain a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety and accessibility protocols, as judged by the FFE jury.

Costa Palmas was honored to collaborate with the Coordinación Municipal de Zona Federal Maritimo Terrestre y Terrenos Ganados al Mar of H. Ayuntamiento de Los Cabos, as this rating benefits 200 meters of the La Ribera beach improving the village beach with Blue Flag certification for the benefit of the community.
